Job Description

An upcoming life insurance company invites applications from competent, result oriented and dynamic Nepalese citizens for the following positions:

1. Chief Executive Officer – 1

Master’s Degree, with at least ten years’ experience in senior managerial position in insurance or banking sector. Must have demonstrated credibility and proven track record of successful leadership and strategic guidance.

2. Deputy General Manager / Deputy Chief Executive Officer –

Master’s Degree, with at least seven years’ experience in senior managerial position in insurance or banking sector. Must have demonstrated credibility and proven track record of successful leadership and strategic guidance.

3. Assistant General Manager – 2

Master’s Degree, with at least six years’ experience in senior managerial position in insurance or banking sector. Must have demonstrated credibility and proven track record of successful leadership and strategic guidance.

4. Manager, Deputy Manager, Assistant Manager (Finance, Marketing/Sales, Underwriting, IT, Internal Audit & Compliance, General Services, Agency, Claims, Reinsurance, Operations) – Few

Preferably Master’s Degree but not less than Bachelor’s degree with at least five years’ experience in a similar position of insurance or banking sector. Must have demonstrated credibility and proven track record.

5. Regional Head- Few

Preferably Master’s Degree but not less than Bachelor’s degree with at least four years’ experience in handling a branch in insurance or bank Must have demonstrated leadership skills with flexibility to work under challenging situations and tackle problems promptly.

6. Sr. Officer Officer Jr. Officer (Finance, Marketing/Sales, Underwriting, IT, Internal Audit & Compliance, General Services, Agency, Claims, Reinsurance) – Few

At least Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, with minimum three years’ experience in insurance or banking sector. Must have ability to tackle stressful and challenging situations.

7. Office secretary -1

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, with at least one years’ experience in similar position. Must have a pleasant personality and good interpersonal skills.

8. Management Trainee – Few

Master’s Degree in management or related field. Prior work experience will be an added advantage. Must have a zeal to learn and work in a team to achieve goals of the organization.

9. Sr. Assistant / Assistant – Few

At least Bachelor’s level, with minimum one year’s experience in insurance or banking sector. Must have a zeal to learn and work in team to achieve goals of the organization.

10. Jr. Assistant – Few

At least +2 level pass but Bachelor’s level preferred. Prior work experience will be an added advantage. Must have a zeal to learn and work in a team to achieve goals of the organization.

All the applicants are expected to be well-versed in acts, regulations and directives relating to insurance business. Age of applicants should not exceed 58 years for positions #1 and 2; 55 years for position #3; 50 years for position #4; 40 years for position #6; 35 years for positions #7, R and 9; and 30 years for position #10, but no constrain for deserving candidates.
