Deloitte is seeking candidate for an Electricity Restructuring Specialist based in Kathmandu for USAID funded Nepal Hydropower Development Project (NHDP)
Key Responsibilities
• Guide key stakeholders – such as MOE„ NEA,IBN,Ministry of Finance and community groups – in an evaluation of the Nepalese power sector,
• Review, and perform cost benefit analyses on, the financial impact of proposed sector-wide reforms. Help to analyze the effect of unbundling on NEA’s operations.
• Support the convening Investors and institutions to identify ways of minimizing HPP transaction risks, including Improving the enabling environment for cross-border power evacuation.
Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in field relevant to activity, Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience working with IJSAID, IFIs, government, and prirkrate sector institutions with minimum of 5 years working in areas of energy is preferred.
