Background Family Planning Association of Nepal (FPAN). a Member Association of International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF), is a leading NGO in Nepal having wide service network in the field of Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) in 37 districts of Nepal. FPAN provides SRH information and services to men, women and young people by medical doctors, nurses. paramedics, counselora, peer educators and reproductive healthmale volunteers through its clinics. information centers, mobile outreach and associated partners in the communities. FPAN invites applications from qualified and dynamic Nepalese citizens for the vacant position. The position requires excellent skills of communication both in English and Nepali languages.
Position: Finance Director (Level-12)
Required Number 1
Base (Location): Central Office. Pulchowk. Lalitpur with frequent field visit
Major Function: Under the direct supervision of Director General. Finance director will be responsible for planning implementation. coordination. monitoring. and reporting of overall financial and inventory of FPAN. Sine will also be responsible for accounting, auditing, inventory and tax related. &the will also work in mobilizing different types of resources. The position requires frequent field visits for supervision and monitoring of district level program/projects and for providing technical backstopping support.
Minimum Requirement: Tho candidate with Chartered Accountant Degree with 3 years of work experiences in managerial level position in donor funded programs/projects can apply for this position. S/he must have knowledge on I/NGO with government tax rules and regulations regarding non-profit social sector, association, federations: knowledge on auditing, accounting and financial system and processes: proven knowledge and experience in resource mobilization; excellent knowledge and skills on financial management including internal control system. fixed assets and inventory management; understanding of SRH and human right issues: good leadership and negotiation skills with high level Of supervisory and management level experience: excellent skills and knowledge on financial report writing for submission to donors. and good knowledge on computerized accounting and inventory systems. Salary and benefits will be negotiable as per skills and experiences.
