UNFPA NEPAL FAMILY PLANNING PROJECT MARIE STOPES INTERNATIONAL NEPAL/SUNAULO PARIVAR NEPAL
United Kingdom’s Department for International Development (DFID) funded UNFPA NEPAL FAMILY PLANNING PROJECT (UNFPP) is being implemented by Marie Stopes International Nepal/Sunaulo Parivar Nepal in 4 districts of Nepal: Baitadi, Okhaldhunga, Rukum and Rolpa from 2017 to 2020. UNFPP aims to contribute in increasing access to information on family planning (FP) for women of reproductive age (W RA) with focus on excluded and marginalized WRA, and increasing availability of FP services by expand’ng the range of contraceptive methods. We are looking for following people who want to embrace new ways of working, use their initiative, take on multiple tasks, be a team player, and deliver solid social and financial results to ensure we can expand our services to more men and women in Nepal.

Finance Officer —1 (Support Office) -Kathmandu

Job Description

  • Manage day today financial activities of the project
  • Ensure timely payment to the staffs and vendors
  • Review project expenses compliances in consultation with related project managers
  • Prepare complete and accurate financial reports in timely manner

Minimum Requirement

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management with at least 3 years of relevant experience preferably in development sector

Project Officer — 4 (Baitadi, Okhaldhunga, Rolpa, Rukum)

  • Implement project activities as per work plan and budget
  • Coordinate project procurement and logistics activities
  • Maintain close coordination with district line agencies, local bodies, and other stakeholders
  • Carry out clinical supervision visits, and provide technical assistance to government service providers

Minimum Requirement

  • Bachelors degree in Nursing with at least 3 years of experience in family planning sector.
  • Experience of coaching and mentoring will be an added advantage.

ANM — 16 (Baitadi, Okhaldhunga, Rolpa, Rukum)

Job Description

  • Provide accurate information and counseling on family planning, safe abortion and reproductive health
  • Insert IUCD, Implant and provide other FP services as required.
  • Maintain cleanliness of client care areas and sterilize tools and equipment as required.

Minimum Requirement

  • ANM
  • Registered in Nepal Nursing Council
  • Trained in IUCD and Implant preferred
