Sahara Nepal Saving and Cooperative Society (SACCOS) Ltd. is a leading financial institution working in 6 districts in Sahara is looking for a dynamic team player in the following positions;

Product Design, Promotion and Market Development Expert

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and define target market segments, market requirements, key business strategies and the competitive environment, Demand supply gap, and price analysis)
  • Design & Develop new products and refine the existing products if needed
  • Roll out, launch and promote the product in market
  • Develop market development and private/public sector engagement strategy
  • Organize B28 Meetings with potential Value Chain actors for stronger market linkages and stakeholders mapping.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in business management (MBA preferred) with minimum 5 years experience. The position is responsible for researching, developing, and launching new products. Respond initiatives by driving new products to meet clients’ needs. Prior experience on product design and development along with market development.

Job # 02. Position : Human Resource Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, adopt and manage all HR related process
  • Responsible for consistent application of all HR and employee policy and guidelines
  • Manage the hiring, recruiting and training and capacity building of staff
  • Build career path for employee and create plans for employee recognition
  • Strongly implement the organizational culture, values, and policies
  • Set up new employee orientation, on boarding and ongoing training program.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree In Business Management/Human Resource Management or specialization with formal training on HAM with minimum 3 years experience. Should have excellent admin and documentation skills.Good communication skills and interpersonal skills.

Technical Officer (B.Sc. Ag.) Few

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for design, development and implementation of agriculture value drain especially livestock (goat and poultry) programs for targeted beneficiaries
  • Assess and analyze the socio-economic scenario of community people in livestock based livelihood
  • Effective delivery knowledge, skills and technologies pertaining to animal health and production.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from a recognized university in Veterinary Science and Minimum three (3) years of experience.Sound knowledge in working with livestock programs, excellent organizational skills including strong communication and coordination skills. Willingness to travel extensively in the field with flexible schedule.

Job # 04. Position : Legal Compliance Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Fulfill Regulators reporting obligations
  • Develop framework for effective legal compliance controls within the organization
  • Perform risk assessments to understand the level,significance and scope of risk
  • Develop, maintain and review policies for Compliance Program’s general operation to prevent improper, unethical and illegal conduct
  • Develop and review Codeof Conduct for management and employees
  • Report back to business functions on current risk and compliance performance
  • Receive and direct compliance issues for investigation and resolution
  • Represent the organization in any legal suits or solicitations.

Requirements:

  • Should have 4-5 years of relevant experience on BEI along with Bachelors degree in law (LLB) Masters preferred.Ensure compliance and legal risk controls exist in accordance with regulatory standards and policies. Strong understanding of compliance processes and activities common to a Financial Institution. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Job # 05. Position : Training and Capacity Building Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Providing applied experience in adult learning research and practices to develop training materials;
  • Conducting training needs assessments related to M&E, research,and data use.

Requirements:

  • Should have 3.5 years of experience in supporting capacity-building initiatives at community level including organizational development, with Masters Degree in social science/Management. Excellent communication, facilitation and listening skills. Ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative team environment. Excellent report writing skills.

  • Installconfigure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
  • Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes
  • Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
  • Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
  • Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.

Requirements:

  • Should have B.SC.CSIT/BE in Computer Science along with Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting. Experience with monitoring systems, experience with automation software. Having solid and sound networking and scripting skills.

Job # 07. Position : Junior Technical Officer (JT/JTA) Ag and Livestock (6-8)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide door to door technical service to farmers
  • Monitor, track and report the animal health and status to technical officer regularly
  • Provide training and coach farmers on animal rearing and animal health related issues
  • Report and liaise with loan officer, branch manager and technical officer regarding the deliveries.

Requirements:

  • Candidates having veterinary 1M training from any recognized institutions, with at least 2 years of experience especially in animal treatment and husbandry, having two wheeler drivers license is preferred. Must be willing to travel and work extra hours with more than 80:4 field based works.
