The position of Marketing Manager has now become available based out of the Sydney head office. As part of the executive management team you will be directly responsible for taking over the full management of the marketing and creative design in which you will be accountable for the below tasks:
- Full budget responsibility of the marketing department.
- Management and final sign off on all collateral covering print, radio, online and TV platforms.
- Running full in house production of campaigns across the various platforms.
- Staff management of a team of 3 including assistants, coordinators and external graphic designers.
- Direct responsibility over media buying.
- Ownership over creation, implementation and presentation of marketing plans and campaigns.
- Ownership over ongoing research and development within the industry through competitor analysis, as well as contributing to new marketing initiatives.
Whilst the above listed responsibilities are the key focus of the position, overall the role covers all of the standard traits of a typical marketing management opportunity, this meaning you will take total ownership over running the department with the sole objective of continuing to improve the marketing initiatives that will in turn drive further sales growth. The position offers the chance to work in an extremely fun and dynamic environment, where no two days are the same. The role is a senior position and very influential within the business, as such it is remunerated with a total remuneration of$100K per annum.
To be considered for the position all candidates must have prior marketing management experience and ideally experience performing the same duties as listed above. Your years of experience can vary and the role is certainly open to candidates who would be taking a step up from their current role into a larger business with more responsibilities. Your marketing experience could come from any industry, however ideally some experience working within a healthcare / pharmaceutical / medical aligned business would be preferred. Some of the other essential elements to the role is to have strong copy editing skills to ensure all key messages are delivered in concise and easy to understand manner for a very diverse audience. Whilst this is a large business, they are anything but a sterile corporate environment and therefore you need to be a vibrant energetic personality that is looking to work in a very family friendly atmosphere where having fun and enjoying daily work life is imperative.
