Good Neighbors International (GNI) Nepal is an International Non•govemmental Organization working in Nepal since 2002 with the objective of improving the lives of people, especially children through education, income generating activities, health services. WASH, advocacy, network building and disaster risk reduction. GNI Nepal invites applications for the following positions:

Position: MEAL Manager, Head Office, Lalitpur (one)

Job Description :

• Design and implement result based MEAL system.

• Develop strategies and tools to improve staff members ability to collect, review and analyze data.

• Provide technical support to project staff on implementing MEAL plan and logical framework

• Manage baseline, midterm and final evaluation and ensure quality methodology and analysis as well as timely delivery.

• Develop manuals, user guides, and training materials for staff related to MEAL systems and analysis.

• Develop communication materials, pamphlets, flyers, posters and others as required.

• Produce quality reports and share success stories, lessons learned and best practices on regular basis.

Job Specification :

• Masters degree in relevant field with five years of experience in humanitarian and/or development organization in designing, implementing and overseeing MEAL related tasks and mechanism.

• Strong statistical skills induding knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

• Expenence in conducting impact studies including tool design, data analysis, innovative reporting and documenting best practices for organizational learning.

• Experience of developing result framework including experience in developing MEAL systems.

• Experience of quantitative and qualitative data collection/survey design, implementation and analysis.

• Strong participatory management and supervision skills including interpersonal, communications, training and facilitation skills.

Position: MEAL Coordinator, Head Office, Laiitpur (one)

Job Description :

• Facilitate to design and implement result based MEAL system.

• Liaise with Area Offices and District’Project Offices to collect, analyze data and to determine progress achieved.

• Undertake field visit to monitor project implementation, identify bottlenecks and provide feedback for improvement.

• Support to conduct baseline, mid-tern and final evaluation and ensure quality methodology and analysis as well as timely delivery.

• Train staff members on MEAL concepts, skills and tools.

• Work closely with staff members and build their anag capacity for proper data management.

• Contribute to develop manuals, user guides, and training materials for staff related to MEAL systems and analysis.

• Assist to produce IECIBCC materials for the visibility of organization.

Job Specification :

• Masters degree in relevant field with three years of experience in humanitarian and/or development organization in designing. implementing and overseeing MEAL related tasks and mechanism.

• Programmatic experience in cooperative and micro-enterprise development. public health, education and child protection sector will have added value.

• Strong statistical skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

• Experience of developing result framework including experience in developing MEAL systems.

• Experience of quantitative and qualitative data collection/survey design. implementation and analysis • Good interpersonal. communications, training and facilitation skills
