Good Neighbors International (GNI) Nepal is an international non-governmental organization working in Nepal since 2002 with the objective of improving the lives of people, especially children through education, income generating activities, health services, WASH, advocacy, network building and disaster risk reduction. GNI Nepal invites application for the following position:
Position: Senior Officer — Child Protection. Head Office (one)
Job Description :
- Design and implement child protection related activities.
- Develop guidelines and manuals in local language for child protection.
- Develop training materials and teaching modules of child rights and child protection.
- Provide technical support to stakeholders on child protection related issues.
- Conduct different trainings on prevention of & protection of children from abuse.
- Develop periodic report on child protection.
- Assist to prepare IEC/BCC materials on child protection.
Job Specification :
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field with three years of experience in child protection and child rights.
- At least one year of working experience with International NGOs.
- Experience of psychosocial counseling and life skill training.
- Child sponsorship service related experience will be highly preferred.
- Good interpersonal, communications, training and facilitation skills.
