HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation Nepal is a Swiss non-governmental organization actively contributing to the improvement of the living conditions of poor and disadvantaged people in Nepal.
Nepal Agricultural Services Development Programme (NASDP) is a bilateral initiative between the Government of Nepal and the Government of Switzerland. This project is being implemented by HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation Nepal. It has established the Programme Support Unit in Lalitpur and two Cluster Support Units: a) Western Cluster Support Unit covers Jajarkot, Dailekh, Kalikot and Achham, and b) Central Cluster Support Unit covers Udayapur, Khotang, Okhaldhunga, Ramechhap and Sindhuli. NASDP/HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation Nepal invites applications from committed and experienced Nepali citizens for the following positions:
Position: Cluster Coordinator (2 – One for Western Cluster Support Unit in Dailekh and One for Central Cluster Support Unit in Okhaldhunga)
Job Purpose: The Cluster Coordinator is responsible for overall management and coordination with local government, public, private, civil society organizations in respective cluster districts for effective implementation of decentralised and pluralistic extension and research programmes. The incumbent ensures links between SDC supported programmes. S/He is responsible for guiding the cluster team, including day-to-day management of the office. In addition, the incumbent also manages all the programme activities of his/her stationed district.
Reporting to: Agriculture Extension Specialist
Required Education, Experience and Social Competency: Master degree in Agricultural Science or related field; minimum 3 years of working experience in a relevant field in a similar position. Sensitivity towards issues related to gender equality, social inclusion and poverty reduction.
Duty station: NASDP Cluster Support Unit (CSU) in Dailekh or Okhaldhunga district (with 80% time for field visits of the programme districts)
Position: District Project Coordinator (7- One position for each district) Ramechhap/Khotang/Sindhuli/Udayapur/Jajarkot/Kalikot/Achham
Job Purpose: The District Project Coordinator is responsible for overall coordination in programme implementation in the working district. The incumbent promotes decentralised and pluralistic extension and research system in the respective district. S/He plays the lead role in the capacity needs assessments of local service providers and farmer organisations, and in the facilitation of organising the required actions. S/He is responsible for strengthening district level stakeholder relations and collaboration. S/He supports the Cluster Coordinator in administrative and project management activities.
Reporting to: Cluster Coordinator
Required Education, Experience and Social Competency: Minimum Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture (BSc. Ag.) with at least 3 years relevant experience in agriculture extension and research. Master degree will be an advantage. Sensitivity towards issues related to gender equality, social inclusion and poverty reduction. Duty station: NASDP district office in Ramechhap/Khotang/Sindhuli/Udayapur/ Jajarkot/ Kalikot/Achham District.
Position: Administrative and Logistic Assistant (2 – One for Western Cluster Support Unit in Dailekh and One for Central Cluster Support Unitin Okhaldhunga)
Job Purpose: The position is responsible for the front desk management, filing, recording, petty cash handling and basic administrative support.
Reporting to: Cluster Coordinator Required Education, Experience and Social Competency: Bachelor degree in Business Management or relevant field, with at least 2 years of working experience in front desk management, administration and logistics. Training in these particular fields would have an added value. Sensitivity towards issues related to gender equality, social inclusion and poverty reduction.
Duty station: NASDP Cluster Support Unit (CSU) in Dailekh or Okhaldhunga district
For the above-mentioned three positions,

Position: Office Helper (Position 1 Okhaldhunga)
Job Purpose: Serving Meal & Tea to all the office employees. Cleaning office area.
Reporting to : Administrative & Logistic Assistance
Qualification & Experience:
8 Class Passed.
Minimum 1 year experienced in related field.
Capable to speak & write in Nepali.
Clean, Healthy and more concerned about cleanliness.
Location: NASDP Okhaldhunga
Job Duration: 3 years
