The UNDP Nepal is seeking applications from qualified, talented and result oriented Nepalese citizens for following assignment under Support to the Strategic Plan of the National Human Rights Commission Project (SPSP)
Job title: Component Manager-I
Contract type and level: DEX SC (SB V/II)
Duty Station: Kathmandu
Contract Duration: One year with possibility of extension
Key responsibilities:
Under the supervision and guidance of the International Project Manager (IPM) and in coordination with the National Project Director (NPD), the Component Manager-I will provide necessary support to the implementation of the project activities listed in the project document. S/he will also design and oversee the implementation and reporting on all programmatic aspects including training activities and institutional supports in enhancing the coordination among all the commissions. Required qualification and experience: Completion of Masters’ Degree in the area of Law, Social Science, Public Administration and Management. At least 8 years’ experience in the capacity building of the high level clients including government agencies, political actors, NHRIs, security forces, civil society leaders and human rights defenders.
