SUPPORT FOR INTERNATIONAL HEALTH AND FAMILY PLANNING ORGANIZATIONS 2 (SIFP02) MARIE STOPES INTERNATIONAL NEPAL/SUNAULO PARIVAR NEPAL

Sunaulo Parivar Nepal (SPN) is a well-established NGO delivering Family Planning and Sexual Reproductive Health services through-out the country via centres, mobile outreach teams to remote areas and social marketing. It works in partnership with Marie Stopes International UK (MSI), a global social business providing reproductive health services across the world with a mission of ensuring individual’s fundamental right to have children by choice not chance.

Support for International Health and Family Planning Organizations 2 (SIFPO2) is a cooperative agreement funded by USAID and implemented by Marie Stopes International Nepal/Sunaulo Parivar Nepal in 11 districts of Nepal of Nepal: Sankhuwasava, Siraha, Rautahat, Chitwan, Dhading, Kaski, Parbat, Myagdi, Syangja, Rupandehi and Darchula from 2015 to 2018. In Nepal, SIFPO2 is a Family Planning Service Strengthening Program (FPSSP) and works for strengthening the FP services delivery system of DoHS/MoH to increase voluntary use of family planning services by increasing accessibility and availability of high quality comprehensive family planning services to the hard to reach, disadvantaged, migrants and adolescent population to achieve universal coverage in the districts and increase district level CYP. We seek candidates who want to embrace new ways of working, take on multiple tasks, be a team player, and deliver sustainable results to ensure expansion of our services to reach more men and women in Nepal. The positions require frequent travel to monitor project activities. We are looking for qualified and competent candidates for following positions:

1. District Manager — 2

(District based: Kaski-1 & Chitwan-1)

  • Bachelors’ degree (preferably Masters) in Public health with Clinical/ Nursing background or BN/BSc Nurse, preferably with additional post graduate degree in public health, Registered in Nepal Medical/ Nursing Council
  • Preferably trained on family planning including CoFP & Counseling, Implant, IUCD and Clinical Training Skills (CTS)
  • Preferably three years of experience in designing, implementing and monitoring project interventions at district level, preferably related to family planning and funded by USAID

2. Family Planning Quality Coordinator— 7

(Sankhuwasabha-2, Siraha -2, Rautahat -2 and Dhading -1)

Job Description

  • Coordination with Health Facilities
  • Coaching, mentoring and support
  • Technical Guidance and Monitoring
  • Clinical Standards and Client Care

Minimum Requirement

  • Proficiency Certificate Level in nursing (preferably BN/BSc. Nurse) registered in Nepal Nursing Council
  • Preferably trained on family planning including Implant and IUCD
  • At least three years of experience in designing, implementing and monitoring health related interventions at district level, preferably related to family planning and funded by USAID

3. FP Mentor-10

(Sankhuwasabha-1, Chitwan-2, Dhading-2, Kaski-1, Syanja-3 and Rupandehi-1)

Job Description

  • Support in planning, management, monitoring and reporting of project activities
  • FP service delivery and mentoring of service providers in delivering FP services in government health facilities

Minimum Requirement

  • Minimum ANM (preferably staff nurse) registered in Nepal Nursing Council
  • Preferably trained on family planning including Implant and IUCD
  • At least two years of experience in designing, implementing and monitoring health related interventions at district level, preferably related to family planning and funded by USAID
