This program, valued at USD 697 million, is co-funded by a USD 500 million grant from the U.S. Government’s Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) and a USD 197 million contribution from the Government of Nepal (GoN). The initiative aims to enhance Nepal’s infrastructure by improving electricity availability, maintaining road quality, and promoting economic growth. The program includes the Electricity Transmission Project and the Road Maintenance Project, both critical to Nepal’s development.

Project Manager – Road Maintenance & Technical Assistance
- Location: Kathmandu
- Role: As a Project Manager, you will lead the Road Maintenance Project (RMP), focusing on the Strategic Road Maintenance Works Activity and the Technical Assistance Activity. This position requires expertise in project leadership, management, and implementation within the infrastructure sector.
Position Requirements
- Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree (required) in Civil Engineering, Engineering, Structural Engineering, Transport Engineering, or equivalent.
- Advanced degree (Master’s or higher) preferred.
- Experience:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in roads construction or rehabilitation projects, which may include experience gained during or post-academic qualification.
- Proven experience managing teams and projects of similar scope and size.
- Familiarity with multilateral donor-funded projects under strict deadlines will be advantageous.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and management skills, especially in large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle complex project requirements.
