HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation Nepal is a Swiss non-governmental organization actively contributing to the improvement of the living conditions of poor and disadvantaged people in Nepal. Rehabilitation of facilities of Earthquake Affected People in Sindhupalchowk (REAP-II) is a consortium project of HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation Nepal and Solidar Switzerland and works under the Climate Change and Disaster Risk Management Programme of HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation Nepal. It invites applications from committed and experienced Nepali citizens for the following positions.
Position: Finance and Administration Officer-1 (for women only)
Job Purpose: Ensure a well-functioning financial management of REAP-II project; lead the procurement and logistics management including construction materials of REAP-II; support in human resource management of the project.
Reporting to: Project Manager Required Education, Experience and Social Competence: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Management or Commerce with at least three years of relevant working experience. Experience managing finance and accounting preferably in i/NGO. Committed towards gender equality, social inclusion and poverty reduction.
Position: WASH Field Coordinator -1
Job Purpose: To ensure project outputs related to WASH component are delivered in time with required quality.
Reporting to: Project Manager Required
Education, Experience and Social Competence: Masters degree in Engineering – specialization in integrated water resources management or water supply or environmental engineering with three years of work experience in drinking water, sanitation and hygiene OR Master degree in any other relevant discipline with Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering with five years of working experience in drinking water, sanitation and hygiene. Position: WASH Field Officer – 1
Job Purpose: To ensure an effective implementation of drinking water scheme reconstruction along with other WASH activities and monitor the progress of the construction related to WASH in the field and their qualities.
Reporting to: WASH Field Coordinator
Required Education, Experience and Social Competence: Bachelor in Civil Engineering with three years of working experiences in WASH sector OR Diploma in Engineering with five years of experience in WASH sector. Committed towards gender equality, social inclusion and poverty reduction.
Position: Shelter Field Officer – 3
Job Purpose: To provide technical assistance to earthquake affected people for the reconstruction of their houses and to operate a local resource center In Sindhupalchowk and provide special support in reconstruction to vulnerable groups.
Reporting to: Shelter Field Coordinator
Required Education, Experience and Social Competence: Bachelor in Architecture or Civil Engineering with minimum three years of working experience in the field of implementation of rural infrastructure (community and individual shelters, school building etc.) OR Diploma in Engineering (building construction) with five years of work experience in the field of implementation of rural infrastructure. Committed towards gender equality, social inclusion and poverty reduction.
Position: Driver
Work Station: Sindhupalchowk
Qualification & Work Experience: Minimum SLC pass, Should have licence, Should have 3 years driving experience in hillsides, should have, should have well knowledge of Nepali reading & writing language.
