We are looking for dynamic team player in the following positions for our programme.

Position: District Finance Coordinator
Level: C2
Duration: Fixed term contract until March 2018
Location: Nuwakot

Description
The Post holder will be responsible for management of significant financial resources and implementation of financial strategies, policies and procedures at the provincial level. S/he will generate quality information to support and guide programme decisions.The post holder will require developing a comprehensive knowledge of pmes and management processes in the finance officer.oArlaeinwill require ensuring effective, timely and accurate functioning and monitoring of the complete People Soft financial systems, induding maintaining the completeness and integrity of data within the system, generating necessary reports and authorizing monthly data compilation in the system. S/he will also be responsible for ensuring the preparation of high quality financial reports, reviewing/monitoring financial performance against budget and providing analysis/commentary on these as required by the Senior Management Team.

Desired Skills and Competencies
Recognized professional qualification in accounting and finance such as ACA,ACCA, CIMA or equivalent with comprehensive knowledge and 5 years of proven experience in core financial management activities, such as: budgeting, forecasting, reporting and grant management is required.

Position: EFSVL (Emergency Food Security and Vulnerable Livelihoods) Team Leader
Level: C2
Duration: Fixed term contract until March 2018
Location: Gorkha

Description 

To support the District Programme Manager in the management, coordination and oversight of the implementation of Emergency Food Security and Vulnerable Livelihoods (EFSVL) programme to address food security and livelihoods needs of the affected population in Gorkha.The post holder will be responsible for ensuring all relevant systems are put in place for a quality programme and there is flexibility to scale up, if needed. This position holder will be responsible for leading and participating in the preparation, planning and implementation of EFSVL activities in Gorkha. S/he will also require leading and participating in the technical analysis of the food security situation within the team and develop strong positive relations with partner organizations.

Desired Skills and Competencies

Masters’ degree or equivalent in food security & livelihoods related discipline/rural development/agronomy or relevant field of study with proven 5 years of field experience in relevant position and field.
