PHASE Nepal is a not for profit NGO established in 2006 by a group of development professionals dedicated to supporting poor communities in remote areas of Nepal. For the last 10 years PHASE Nepal has been implementing Health, Education and Livelihoods improvement programmes in Humla, Bajura, Mugu, Gorkha, Sindhupalchok and Kavrepalanchok districts. Currently PHASE has over 150 staff working for different projects including earthquake recovery and reconstruction. We are currently in need of
PHASE Nepal is currently looking for experienced candidates for the following positions:
- Position: Logistic Officer
Gross Salary: 35,000- 45,000/month
Duration: Short term with possibility of extension based on performance
Duty Station : Kathmandu(but have to visit field area frequently)
This position will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and implementation of overall logistics processes including purchasing, warehousing, transportation, and customer services. Maintain complete record of movements of all stock items and ensure that balance in the books reflect the physical stock. Maintain files for monthly stock report, signed delivery order, and Goods Receive Note (GRN).
Required Experience and Qualification: 2 years of experience in similar capacity in development sector after completion of Bachelor’s degree in management or equivalent. Should have good reporting and documentation skill. Proficient in Microsoft office packages with excellent verbal & written communication skill in English and Nepali language.
- Position: Junior Technical Assistant (JTA)
Gross Salary: 20,000-30,000/month
Duty Station: PHASE Project Districts
Required Number: Few
The JTA will report to the Livelihood Supervisor and Project Manager, is responsible for distributing agricultural inputs (seed, irrigation materials, plastic sheets, poultry, goat etc) in the community, identifying/forming/reforming farmers groups, conducting training to the local groups, forming saving and credit groups and supporting those groups in mobilizing saving and credit activities.
Required Experience and Qualification: Technical SLC (TSLC) in Plant Production or Animal Husbandry with minimum of 2 years experiences as JTA. Experience in community mobilization activities will be an added advantage.
