Position Title: MEAL Manager—Research and Learning

Required No.:1

Term & Location: Fixed term till December 2018 based in Kathmandu

Strengthen the analytical and learning culture across the organization and its partners to improve the quality and impact of programmes for children: lead the research and learning team within the Monitoring. Evaluation. Accountability and Learning (MEAL) department; enhance programme operational research to improve quality and innovation. Identify and develop new ideas for the continuous improvement of the MEAL system in Nepal and Bhutan office.

Master’s degree with minimum 7 years (5 years for GSI group*) of relevant work experience

Term & Location: Fixed term till May 2018 based in Kathmandu

Responsible for providing strategic, technical and managerial leadership for Newborn Child Health (NCH) research project under MFC foundation in three districts namely Bardiya, Surkhet and Mahottori; ensure the timely implementation of quality program, monitoring and reporting of the project activities as well as act as focal point in relation with Newboarn and Child Health in Emergency setting while dealing with Child Health Division,DoHS/MOH/GoN

Masters degree in Public Health/Population Studies or related discipline(s) with 5 years (3 years for GSI group of experience in leading and managing health projects and programs (research health project will be a priority)

*GSI group includes Femal, Dalit, Madhesi, People with disabilities and other indigenous/minorities
