We are urgently looking for dynamic team player in the following position for our National programme.

Position : PHE (Public Health Engineer) Officer

Level: D2

Duration: Fixed Term contact Until March 2017

Location: Sindhupalchok

Description

This position holder will be responsible for delivering the public health engineering humanitarian response in Sindhupalchok.

S/he will be responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring the hygiene promotion intervention in collaboration with PHP (Public Health Promotion) Officer.

S/he will be responsible for selecting, designing, and estimating most appropriate form of water supply and sanitation system, in construction with the beneficiaries. Position holder will be responsible to work closely with partner to prepare weekly and monthly plan.

S/he will also report monthly progress to the team leader.

Requirements for the role
Preferably graduate in civil engineering/ public health engineering that provide an understanding of water supply & sanitation system and hygiene interventions.

2 years of work experience with practical delivery of WASH project during emergency and recovery phase or development.

(Experience could substitute for a formal qualification but not vice versa.)
