Job Description

Health Research and Social Development Forum (HERD), in the capacity of Sub-Recipient (SR), is supporting to implement the National Tuberculosis Programme funded by the Global Fund in partnership with Save the Children Nepal and close coordination with National Tuberculosis Centre, Ministry of Health covering 21 districts namely Bara, Bhaktapur, Chitwan, Dhading, Dhanusha, Kathmandu, Kavrepalanchowk, Lalitpur, Mahottari, Makwanpur, Parsa, Rautahat, Sarlahi in Central Development Region and Kapilvastu, Kaski, Nawalparasi, Palpa, Rupandehi, Syangja, Tanahun and Gulmi in Western Development Region. To implement this programme, HERD is seeking experienced and dynamic Nepali applicants for the following positions:

Programme Coordinator: 2

Base in: Central Region

Minimum Qualification and Experience

Masters in Public Health, MBBS or related discipline with 3 years working experience at senior level in disease control programme OR Bachelor in Public Health or related discipline with 5 years working experience; prior experience of working with government stakeholders is a must.

Programme Officer: 11

Base in: 7 in Central Region and 4 in Western Region

Minimum Qualification and Experience

Masters in Public Health, MBBS or related discipline with 1 year working experience in disease control programme OR Bachelor in Public Healthor related discipline with 2 years working experience; prior experience of working with government stakeholders is a must.

Finance officer: 2

Base in: 1 in Central Region and 1 in Western region

Minimum Qualification and Experience

Masters in Management with 2 years working experience in financial management in I/NGOs OR Bachelor in Management with 3 years working experience.

Assistant M&E officer: 2

Base in: 1 in Central Region in Western Region

Minimum Qualification and Experience

Masters in Management with 2 years working experience in financial management in 1/NGOs OR Bachelor in Management with 3 years working experience.

Assistant Finance officer: 1

Base in: Central Region

Minimum Qualification and Experience

Bachelor in Public Health with 2 years working experience in M&E and data management.

Office Assistant: 1

Base in: Western Region 

Minimum Qualification and Experience

Bachelor in Management with 1 year working experience in financial management in 1/NG0s. SLC with computer literacy including Nepali typing will be added advantage.
