Procurement Specialist Required No.(s): 1 Term & Location: Fixed-term until January 2019 with possible extension based in Kathmandu

Description

Ensuring government partners – EDCD, NCASC and NTC procure commodities budgeted under the government’s fund for the effective implementation of national malaria, HIV & AIDS and TB programs respectively

Eligibility 
Master’s degree in Management or Public Administration with minimum 7 years (5 years for GSI group*) of experience in GON’s public procurement, with at least 3 years in a senior management position; thorough understanding of acts, regulations and procedures of public procurement is mustprocurement and quality assurance policies is must

Laboratory Specialist Required No.(s): 1 Term & Location: Fixed-term until January 2019 with possible extension based in Kathmandu

Description

Ensuring government entities viz. EDCD, NCASC and NTC perform all the laboratory related activities of HIV, Malaria and TB as per the national protocols standards and make sure that the laboratory units of these entities are functioning well in coordination with NPHL

Eligibility 

Master’s degree (PhD preferred) in Microbiology or Laboratory Technology or related disciplines with minimum 7 years (S years for GSI groups) of relevant work experience in government or UNGOE thorough understanding of acts, regulations and procedures of NPHL system is must

Procurement and Supply Chain Management (PSM) Coordinator
Required No.(s): 1 Term & Location: Fixed-term until January 2019 with possible extension based in EDCD. Kathmandu

Description

Responsible for coordination and management of procurement and supply chain functions of malaria commodities in accordance with the procurement and quality assurance policy of the Global Fund, and the financial & procurement rules and regulations of the Government of Nepal

Eligibility 

Master of Pharmacy or Public Health (M.Pharm or MPH) or Master’s degree in other related Health Science; MBA with Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) is preferred with minimum 3 years (2 years for GSI groups) of experience in procurement and supply chain management of malaria or health commodities; knowledge of Global Fund

Program Coordinator (PC) – Global Fund Required Nackl: 1 Term & Location: Fixed-term until January 2019 with possible extension based in Province 2

Description

Support the provincial team in implementing Global Fund programs. especially HIV program; provide technical backstopping to SRs and government SDPs for HIV program; support to implement TB and Malaria program; ensure the service providers have adequate technical knowledge/skills and they follow national guidelines/protocols for quality service delivery at all levels

Description

Assist the internal audit team in conducting audit of SCI and its partners as per the annul plan including compliance checks as per donor agreement and provide recommendations for improvements

CA/ACCA Ongoing (preferred) or Bachelor in Business Studies/Administration, Management or related field; prior experience in audit especially of development organization is preferred: willingness to spend 80% time in field visit

Intern – Finance Required_No.(s): 1 Term _& Location: Fixed-term until December 2018 with possible extension based in Kathmandu

Description

Support the finance team in day-to-day financial transactions and other related activities; support in filing and documentation of financial documents

Eligibility 

CA/ACCA Ongoing (preferred) or Bachelor in Business Studies/Administration. Management or related field: prior experience in audit especially of development organization is preferred:willingness to spend 80% time in field visit

Eligibility 

Bachelor’s degree in Management with good computer skills in MS Office
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, preferably in Public Health with basic knowledge public health including HIV.TB and Malaria:good writing and computer skills in MS Office
