Job Description

“Chilime Engineering and Services Company Limited”, a subsidiary company of Chilime Hydropower Company Limited is looking for experienced and qualified Nepalese Citizens for the following full time positions of the consulting services.
1. Post Title: Senior Hydropower Engineers two (2) numbers.
a) Duration: One year (can be extended based on the performance).
b) Responsibilities:
(I) H/She shall be responsible for Planning, Designing of Hydropower Structures.
(II) Preparing Tender Documents and Evaluating Bids of Hydropower Projects.
(III) Carrying out and Supervising Survey (topographic, geological, geotechnical, construction material survey and etc) of Hydropower Projects during the design phase and construction phase.
c) Qualification Requirements:
(i) Six years of work experience in Hydropower Projects and Master’s Degree in Hydropower/Water Resources Engineering.
(ii) Experience in computer works such as AUTOCAD, “Microsoft Project” and ” Hydropower Engineering Software”.
2. Post Title: Senior Structural Engineer two (2) numbers.
a) Duration: One year (can be extended based on the performance)
b) Responsibilities:
(i) H/She shall be responsible for designing of hydropower structures. ii) Preparing Tender Documents and Evaluating Bids of Hydropower Projects. (iii) Carrying out and Supervising of Hydropower Projects during the design phase and construction phase.
c) Qualification Requirements:
(i) Six years of work experience in Hydropower Structure and Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering/Geothenica I Engineering.
(ii) Experience in computer works such as “AUTOCAD”, ” Hydropower Engineering Software and Structural Engineering Software”.
3. Post Title: Senior Contract Engineers two (2) numbers.
a) Duration: One year (can be extended based on the performance)
b) Responsibilities:
(I) H/She shall be responsible for preparing and execution of Tender Documents, Contract Documents of Hydropower Project. (ii) Enough knowledge to handle the EPC/BOQ contract project with the contractual obligation there in. (iii) Responsible to the EPC/BOQ contract implementation of the project from the Project Management Side (iv) Responsible to the planning and scheduling of Hydropower Projects.
c) Qualification Requirements: (i) Six years work experience in Hydropower Projects as contract Engineer and Master’s Degree in construction Management/Water Resources/ Hydropower Engg/M BA with Basic Degree in Civil Engineering. (ii) Experience in computer works such as “AUTOCAD”, “Microsoft Project” and ” PRIMAVERA Engineering Software”.
4. Post Title: Civil Engineers four (4) numbers.
a) Duration: One year (can be extended based on the performance)
b) Responsibilities
(I) H/She shall be responsible for planning, designing of Hydropower Structures. (ii) Rate analysis, BOQ estimate (iii) Site supervision works of Hydropower Projects.
c) Qualification Requirements: (i) One year of work experience in Hydropower Projects and Bachelor’s Degree in Hydropower/Civil Engineering. (ii) Experience in computer works such as AUTOCAD, “Microsoft Project” and “Hydropower Engineering Software”.
5. Post Title: Geologist one (1) number.
a) Duration: One year (can be extended based on the performance)
b) Responsibilities: (I) H/She shall carryout surface and sub surface geology investigation works, construction material works, laboratory material testing works of Hydropower Project.
c) Qualification Requirements: (i) Two year of work experience in Hydropower Projects as geologist and Master’s Degree in geology (i 1) Experience in computer works such as “AUTOCAD”, “Microsoft Project”.
6. Post Title: Surveyor one (1) number.
a) Duration: One year (can be extended based on the performance)
b) Responsibilities:
(I) H/She shall carryout topographic survey, control point surveyof Hydropower Project.
c) Qualification Requirements:
(I) two years of work experience in survey works of Hydropower Projects and Bachelor’s Degree in geomatics/survey engineering (ii) Experience in computer works such as “AUTOCAD”, “GIS”.
7. Post Title: Electrical Engineer one (1) number.
a) Duration: one year (can be extended based on the performance)
b) Responsibilities: (I) H/She shall be responsible in transmission line works, powerhouse equipment layout and design works of Hydropower Project.
c) Qualification Requirements: (I) one year of work experience in Hydropower Projects as electrical engineering and Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (II) Experience in computer works such as “AUTOCAD”, “Microsoft word”.
