Job Description
CAPITAL MEDIA GROUP (CMG) is a media group consisting of Capital FM 92.4 in Kathmandu, Radio Sarangi 93.8 in Kaski and Radio Sarangi 1013 in Morang. CMG, to enhance its broadcast and expand its multimedia media platforms requires competent and qualified media persons to work in the following positions.
Sr. Radio Presenter/Reporter (Male/Female) – 2
Requirements: Bachelors degree preferably in Mass Communication and Journalism or any other social sciences. Minimum S years experience in radio journalism (reporting, radio production and presentation). Expertise of finding issues, news collection and editing. Good hand on social media with basic knowledge of multimedia/online platforms. Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills in Nepali, appealing radio voice. Technical skills of audio and video production as well as photography will be an added advantage.
Radio Presenter/Reporter (Male/Female) – 5
Requirements: Bachelors degree preferably in Mass Communication and Journalism or any other social sciences. Minimum 3 years working experience in radio journalism (field reporting, radio production and presentation). Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills in Nepali language, appealing radio voice. Basic knowledge of social media/ multimedia/online platforms. Technical skills of audio and video production and photography or any of the mentioned.
Jr. Radio Presenter/Reporter (Male/Female) – 3
Requirements: +2 degree preferably in Journalism. Minimum 1 year experience in radio journalism (reporting, radio production and presentation). Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills in Nepali language, appealing radio voice. Technical skills of audio and video production as well as photography or any of the mentioned.
Broadcast Technicians (Male/Female) – 2
Requirements : +2 graduate in any stream. Minimum 3 years experience in radio broadcasting. Good knowledge of technical issues of radio (FM station) broadcasting. Expertise of audio recording, editing and mastering and ON-air broadcast as well as outdoor broadcasting. Skills of video editing and graphics will be added advantage.
Camera Person cum Video Editor (Male/Female) – 1
Requirements : +2 graduate in any stream. Minimum 1 years experience in relevant field. Good knowledge of videography & camera operation. Skill of video editing, mixing & basic graphics, knowledge of different video formats and video editing software.
Social Media and Content Management Associate (Male/Female) – 1
Requirements : +2 graduate in any stream. Experience in content development and publishing on websites and other online platforms. Understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) and content management in each platforms. Skills of graphic designing, photo editing and video editing will be preferred.
Candidate must be able to work at odd hours, under pressure and multicultural environment. Ideal candidates for all the mentioned posts should be willing to work in modern newsroom culture and for the promotion of ethical journalism.
