Nepal GoodWeave Foundation (NGF) is an NGO and a member of Goodweave International having country affiliated in India, USA, UK, Germany and Afghanistan. NGF invites application for the following positions:
1 COUNSELOR-3 ,
(Based in Kathmandu with frequent field visits out of valley)
Key Responsibilities:
This position is responsible to provide counseling to trainees and their families, labour contractors, employers. S/he will supervise the day-to-day activities of GoodWeave projects and report to the Project Coordinator.
Qualification & Competencie:
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or similar field with at least 3 years of counselling experience. Basic knowledge on child protection, national/international labour laws & standards.
2 MONITORING SUPERVISOR (SOCIAL COMPLIANCE) – 2
(Based in Kathmandu with frequent travels to program districts)
Key Responsibilities:
S/he will conduct announced ,and unannounced monitoring and assessment in the member Carpet supply chains and targeted brick kilns to verify compliance with the Good Weave standard. This position will be responsible for removal of child labourers from factories and/or kilns for their rehabilitation.
Qualification & Competencies;
Minimum Bachelors Degree in Management Humanities & Science, with at least 2 years of social auditing, social compliance or activity monitoring experience. Skill in verification of compliance through different methodologies such as worker Interviews, management interviews, documents review & visual inspection.
