The Gurkha Welfare Trust Nepal, Rural Water & Sanitation Programme (GWT-NIRWSP) Invites application from suitably qualified applicants for the post of 1 x Experienced Driver to be based in the Headquarters GWT-N. Pokhara.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be a Nepali citizen with valid professional diving license for CategoryA. B. F & G.
- Should have SLC (or equivalent) passed.
- Below 45 Years of age with sound health.
REQUIRED BACKGROUND EXPERIENCE
- Min of ten years of work experience in professional driving with Govt/NGO/ING0s.
- Experience in Water Borehole Drilling and Vehicle Mechanic is preferred.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The successful applicant will be responsible to Logistic Officer GWT-N and will work directly under Project Manager (Drilling) for the operation and maintenance of Drilling Equipment efficiently for Vertical & Horizontal Drilling Water Projects. He is also responsible for carrying out routine driving duties i.e. delivery of stores, drive visitors including VIPs and HQ staff and deployment on Medical Camps on order.
REMUNERATION
Competitive Salary with Provident Fund. one month pay as Dashain Bonus and Medical Cover asper GWT(N)Staff Regulations. The job is offered from 01 May 2018 and up to 31 March 2020.
