We are urgently Looking for dynamic team player in the following position for our National programme.

Position: Driver 

Level: F1

Duration: Fixed Term Contact Until March 2018

Location: Kathmandu

Description
The position will require sound skills to drive all Oxfam Nepal vehicles in/outside Kathmandu according to policies, safety and security guidelines etc. ensuring routine check-up of the vehicle. S/he will be responsible for undertaking vehicle related administrative works, maintain logbook. papers, service records and travel box, preparation and submission of monthly vehicle report to line manager in a timely manner. S/he will ensure all vehicles registration renewal and other mandatory vehicle documentation in each vehicle, fulfilment of all legal requirements in the event of accidents and inform line manager as soon as possible and ensure maintenance and safety of vehicles and passengers; daily maintenance, minor repairs, regular servicing, cleaning etc. of all office vehicles. S/he requires to support to maintain vehicle and generator related stocks and record to line manager, ensure all necessary equipment before moving for field visit support (e.g. first aid kit, vehicle spare parts. tyres. drinking water, sleeping bags. batteries etc.) and support line manager for logistical arrangement and other support. department. other thematic groups within OXFAM for synergizing in line with one programme approach as well as with parmer organnadon and district stake holders.

Desired skills and competencies
Having valid driving licence Proven record of good driving In remote as well in urban road conditions.
Minimum of 2-3 years driving experience with INGO with understanding of INGO ways of working will be preferred. Secondary education with good communication skill in English and Nepali. Good interpersonal and teamwork skills with positive attitude and behavior
