WORLD FRIENDS KOREA
The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) was established on April 1, 1991 under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of the Republic of Korea to implement Korea’s grant aid assistance. Since the establishment, KOICA has been at the forefront of Korea’s international development effort KOICA’s aim is to facilitate socio-economic development of its partner countries through project type assistance, dispatch of Korean Volunteers, Fellowship Program, Public-Private Partnership Program and Multilateral n operation. Currently, KOICA is looking for an experienced and qualified Nepali national to fill the following position:
Post title and number: Receptionist (1)
Duty Station : Kathmandu
Contract Duration : Until March 31, 2018 from the appointment date (renewable by yearly base)-Including 3 months of probation period
Opening Date : 5 July, 2017 Closing Date 14 July, 2017
Work Hours : Full-Time (09:00-17:00) Monday to Friday
Job Responsibilities
- Front desk management (answering phone calls, emails and faxes, mall, etc)
- Management of day-to-day operations
- Operational support (Petty cash, etc)
- Travel& accommodation arrangements
- Logistic support for workshop/seminars
- Secretarial support and a mange appointment when required
- Managing administrative task related to office maintenance
The Receptionist needs to have the ability of multi-tasking, he/she should be able to work under pressure and demonstrate diplomacy and tact while communicating with all the partners and stakeholders. The Position also has a potential for career growth, if his/her performance is excellent during annual evaluation.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent in any discipline
- At least two years of similar experience in NGO and INGO
- Have a high level of competence in business communication skills and commitment customer service approach with secretarial training will be advantage.
- Proficient English language skill will be preferable
- Appropriate computer skills (including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint arid Outlook)
- Korean language proficiency will be added advantage
