Job Description
As per the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Environment Friendly Local Governance Program (EFLGP) executed by the Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development (MoFALD) and Tribhnvan University, Central Department of Environmental Science (TU-CDES); TU-CDES is recruiting Volunteer Monitoring and Evaluation Officers: Environmental Engineers and Environmentalists to implement EFLG P in 14 districts including 12 District Development Committees (DDCs), 54 municipalities (21 new municipalities added in fiscal year 2072/73 and 60 Village Development Committees (VDCs). The objective of EFLGP program is to enhance the adaptive capacity of vulnerable groups including women to cope with impacts of climate change by adopting integrated environment. climate and disaster resilient planning at local level. TU-CDES is looking for the highly qualified candidates for the aforementioned positions. Women and persons of marginalized communities are encouraged to apply. The positions are initially for 6 months with possibility of extension based on their performance.
