Established in B.S. 2063, Muktinath Bikas Bank Ltd. is one of the leading national level development banks in the country with its central office located at Kathmandu Plaza, Kamaladi, Kathmandu with successful operations of 71 Branches throughout the country. The bank is institutionalized by the highly professional and experienced team with a well known verse of “Janata Bankma Hoina, Bank Janatama Janu Pardachh”.
In an expansion process to provide easy and accessible service to our customer, the bank is seeking employees (Microfinance and Banking) for its new branches in Kathmandu (Thamel, Koteshwor, Boudha, Machhapokhari), Sunsari (Dharan and Itahari), Dhanusha (Janakpur), Kailali (Dhangadhi), Jhapa (Birtamod and Damak), Rupandehi (Kotihawa and Driver Tole) and upcoming new and existing branches. The Bank is currently looking for few dynamic, result oriented, pragmatic, self motivated and passionate candidates to join us in the following position:
1. Trainee Assistant (TA) – Few
It is an entry-level job position for assistant level. No prior work experience is required.
- Candidates must have minimum Bachelor degree preferably in management from a recognized university and should have at least second division.
- For microfinance, having Intermediate or plus two can also be considered for the position.
- *Both – Age of candidate should not exceed 28 years as on January 31, 2018.
2. Assistant (Banking and Microfinance) – Few
- Candidates must have minimum 1 year of experience in same sector.
- *Age of candidate should not exceed 30 years as on January 31, 2018
3. Sr. Assistant (Banking and Microfinance) – Few
- Candidates must have minimum 2 years of experience in same sector.
- Age of candidate should not exceed 30 years as on January 31, 2018
4. Branch Manager / Microfinance Desk In-charge (Sr. Officer / Officer / Junior Officer / Supervisor) – Few
- For Branch Manager: at least 5 years of experience in banking sector with at least 2 years of experience in Credit Relationship Management, Marketing and Operation.
- For Microfinance Desk In-charge: must have at least 3 years experience in Microfinance sector.
- Age of candidate should not exceed 35 years as on January 31, 2018
Criteria for eligibility:
- Candidates must have minimum Bachelor Degree in preferably in Management from a recognized University.
- Candidates must be working at the same level or one level below (Minimum one year in one position below) the position applying for.
- Candidates must have working knowledge of MS Office applications and must be fluent in written and spoken English and Nepali.
5. Head-Microfinance (Manager Level)
This position is to oversea overall microfinance business of the bank and is responsible to lead the microfinance department, assuring its full integration with other activities and shall report to Chief – Microfinance.
Criteria for eligibility:
- At least 5 years of experience in microfinance sector or deprived sector lending in Bank and Financial Institutions.
- Candidates must have minimum Master’s Degree preferably in Management from a recognized University.
- Candidates must have the working knowledge of MS Office applications and must be fluent in written and spoken English and Nepali.
Instruction to Application:

- Preference will be given to local candidate or the candidates from the surroundings area of the branches.
- The eligible candidates meeting the minimum criteria shall be short-listed for written exam/computer test or both for Trainee Assistant.
