GURKHA CONTINGENT, SINGAPORE POLICE FORCE VACANCY FOR SCHOOL TEACHER The Gurkha Contingent, Singapore Police Force (GC, SPF) invites applications for the post of a school teacher to be based in Singapore.
BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION
Job responsibilities include:
- To assist in the preparation and delivery of English education package for students aged 4 to 7, to prepare them for entry into the Singapore mainstream education system.
- To teach Nepalese language to children.
REQUIREMENT
- Must be Nepali citizen with a valid passport.
- Female between 25 – 35 years of age with at least 2 years of teaching experience in an English Medium Kindergarten or Primary School (References of experience needed).
- Must hold I.A., I Ed (Majoring English) or I.Sc, 10+2 passed with at least 2nd Division.
- Must be single/able to serve unaccompanied if married.
REMUNERATION / BENEFITS
- Successful candidate will be appointed on an initial 2-year contract (renewable).
- Salary will be paid in Singapore Dollars. Starting salary will be in the range of $1,400 to $1,600.00 per calendar month depending on qualifications and experience.
- A lump sum gratuity is payable at the end of each contract.
- Entitled to 36 days of leave at the end of each contract (18 days per annum).
- Furnished apartment provided on co-share basis.
CONTRACT
Contract terms and conditions will be based upon the Singapore Civil Service, Terms and Conditions of Service.
